About Waypoint

Hi, I'm Kirstie.

I know how difficult life can sometimes feel when anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm or past experiences begin affecting how we think, feel and relate to ourselves or others.

I also understand how daunting it can feel to reach out for support, especially when you're used to managing everything on your own.

I have worked in mental health and wellbeing services since 2014, supporting people through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My background includes wellbeing support, social prescribing and mental health-focused employability services. I hold a First-Class Psychology degree and am trained in NLP, Eye Movement Integration and generative trance.

My interest in this work is also personal. Having experienced anxiety from a young age, I spent years searching for approaches that helped me understand what was happening beneath the surface. While some approaches were helpful, it wasn't until I experienced therapy that focused on emotional patterns, limiting beliefs and the connection between mind and body that things began to make more sense.

That experience deepened my belief that meaningful change can happen when we feel safe enough to explore our experiences with curiosity and compassion.

Creating a warm, supportive and human space where people feel heard and understood is at the heart of my work.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative and tailored to the individual. I believe therapy should feel safe enough for meaningful change to happen at your own pace.

Together, we can explore the emotional patterns, beliefs and experiences that may be influencing how you think, feel and respond today, helping you move forward with greater confidence, self-understanding and emotional resilience.

You don't have to navigate life alone.

I offer a calm and relaxing space in Hopton-on-sea or online sessions.
