Our agreement

Welcome - I'm looking forward to supporting you.

These sessions are all about you. You set the pace and decide what feels most important to focus on. My role is to create a safe, supportive space and use talking therapy, NLP and EMN techniques to help you work towards the changes you want in your life.

I am committed to supporting you in working towards meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your openness, curiosity and willingness to engage can help you get the most from our work together.

Confidentiality

Everything you share in our sessions is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

The only exception is if I believe you are at risk of harm, or there is a risk to others. In such rare circumstances, I may need to contact the appropriate services to ensure safety. Whenever possible, I will discuss this with you before taking any action.

Your personal details and session notes are stored securely and in line with current GDPR data protection regulations.

Professional Boundaries

Should we happen to meet outside of sessions, I will acknowledge you with a brief, friendly greeting unless you prefer otherwise. I won’t discuss any details of our work outside our agreed session times.

Therapy does not replace medical or psychiatric care, and I encourage you to continue any treatment or medication prescribed by your healthcare providers.

If I ever feel another form of support may benefit you, we can discuss that together.

Cancellations and Lateness

If you are unable to attend a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed without notice, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, may be charged in full except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.

If you are late for a session, we will still finish at the scheduled time so that other appointments are not affected.

Session Fees

Each session lasts 60 minutes and costs £50.
Payment can be made by cash or BACS transfer.
(BACS details will be provided separately.)

Ending Sessions

You are free to end your sessions at any time. However, I recommend scheduling a final session to reflect on your progress and bring your work to a natural close.

Either of us may also suggest ending the work if it no longer feels beneficial.

Professional Supervision

As part of my ongoing professional practice, I receive regular supervision. This helps ensure I work ethically and effectively. Any client material discussed in supervision is kept strictly anonymous.

Contact Between Sessions

If you need to contact me between sessions to rearrange an appointment or ask a brief question, you can reach me by email or phone. Please note I may not be able to respond immediately, but I’ll reply as soon as I can within working hours.

Emergency Support

Please note that I do not offer crisis support between sessions.

If you are concerned about your safety or need urgent support, please contact your GP, call 111, attend your nearest A&E department or call 999 in an emergency.

Feedback and Concerns

If you have any concerns about our work together, I encourage you to discuss them with me so we can address them openly and constructively.

Please feel free at any time to ask questions or share feedback.

This is your space, and I want you to feel safe, respected and supported throughout our work together.

I offer a calm and relaxing space in Hopton-on-sea or online sessions.

Standard rate is £50/hour
